Using an IPG Photonics GLPN-100 green fibre laser, Disney recently transformed the iconic Spaceship Earth globe at Epcot theme park in Florida into the Death Star. Imagineers used lasers and other special effects as part of a promotion for the latest movie in the series, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
