Scott Bader, a world-wide adhesives, resins and gelcoats manufacturer, recently announced the appointment of Dr Kevin Matthews as Executive Chairman with immediate effect. He succeeds Dr Jean-Claude Pierre who has served as CEO for the past 4 years.
Previously, Kevin Matthews was Executive Chairman at Itaconix, an AIM-listed polymers business, that he had the honour of leading for 4 years. He has a strong technical background in addition to almost 20 years’ experience as CEO of organisations in the chemical, technology and pharmaceutical sectors. His expertise in business management and strategy has been instrumental in securing the growth and success of a number of private and public organisations.
He will use this experience to implement Scott Bader’s ‘2036 Vision’ aligning the company’s sustainability ambitions with its business goals. He will be located at Scott Bader’s global headquarters in Northamptonshire in the UK.
