Retrac Composites has been awarded the prestigious accolade of Composite Supplier of the Year 2018, including recognition as overall top supplier of the year by the Mercedes FI team.
The company was pitched against 50 other high-ranking suppliers but managed to stand out by maintaining a fast and reactive partnership to Mercedes F1 while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail in line with the current high standards that are mandatory at this level of the industry.
Ian Hoyle, Managing Director and Ian Drew, Operations Director, were congratulated and presented with framed certificates to record the achievement, along with a fantastic signed model of their current racing car by Team Principal Toto Wolff and Rob Thomas, Chief Operations Officer.
Rob Thomas expressed over all gratitude towards all suppliers including highlighting Retrac Composites overall high achievements having contributed greatly to the success of Mercedes F1 throughout 2018.
